The film sheds light on the growing menace of child labour trafficking in India through its central characters – 54 years old housekeeper Cecilia Hasda and her employers, the newly married Pankaj and Sunaina. When Cecilia’s 14 years old daughter is trafficked and found dead in Delhi, Pankaj and Sunaina decide to help her get justice. As the trio battle corruption at all levels, they find themselves navigating a complex network of cops, traffickers, judges, lawyers, villagers and family members. When Cecilia’s husband is kidnapped and her two sons are forced to leave the village, Cecilia begins to lose all hope.
